In 2010, Evangelist Thompson became a member of The Holy Ghost Church of God Purchased with His Blood under the leadership of Pastor Larry Seaberry. She served faithfully in many areas of the ministry that Pastor Seaberry needed her to fill in. In January 2012, she was ordained as an Elder by Bishop L.J. Hicks and Bishop Isaac Andrews Jr., under The Holy Ghost Church of God Purchased with his Blood.  

While serving at The Holy Ghost Church of God Purchased With His Blood, Saint Petersburg, she continued to serve and work diligently in the ministry where she served as the Lead Intercessor, praying until results and changes happened. Elder Thompson is a very authoritative speaker, a true Woman of God, who stands bold and firm teaching and preaching the word of God and has seen the power of God SAVE, HEAL and DELIVER! She takes her calling and works of God very seriously.   

In January 2013, through much prayer and being led by God, the Board of Directors made known that Elder Lillian Thompson will Pastor The Holy Ghost Church of God Purchased With His Blood, St. Petersburg and in May 2013 Elder Lillian A. Thompson was officially installed as Pastor by Bishop Robert L. Young and Bishop Bruce Moore Sr.  

In the last 9 years of Pastoring, she has shown evidence of God’s approval and implementing visionary ideas to bring growth and development to the ministry. God has Blessed and Anointed Pastor Thompson to operate in Miracles, Signs, and Wonders, where healing and deliverance ministry are in effect. The hand and the favor of God rest upon this ministry promoting spiritual growth through the saints of God, both young and old.  

Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, Presiding Bishop Isaac Andrews Jr., called out Pastor Lillian A. Thompson to the Episcopacy as Bishop-Designate of The Holy Ghost Church of God Purchased with His Blood, Inc. And with joyful hearts, the Leaders and The  Holy Ghost P.W.H.B. Fellowship received her. 

After extensive training through the College of Bishops and Catechism, October 28th 2017, Bishop-Designate Lillian A. Thompson was Consecrated as Bishop and Appointed as the First Assistant Presiding Bishop of The Holy Ghost Church of God Purchased With His Blood Fellowship. 

Bishop Lillian A. Thompson strives to stay humble and respectful before the body of Christ. Her assignment is clear, to compel, to prepare, and to promote through the elements of prayer and praise.  Bishop Thompson’s unique style has privileged her to minister to many; being a voice for the kingdom, a preserver of Pentecost and her life’s mandate to Change Lives, Heal Hearts and Save Souls.

Bishop Thompson is a loving helpmate to her husband, (Minister Willie Thompson) and is the proud mother of three daughters and the grandmother of two.  Her quote is “We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us”.
